podcasts
I created a podcast about mental health and being a person called My Good Bad Brain in 2018. It takes a lot of formats, usually conversations and sometimes solo expressions, but always honest about what it’s like living with mental illness. I have depression and ADHD, and I didn’t get diagnosed until I was 32. I realized as a society we’ve done a lot to reduce the stigma of mental illness for other people but still have difficulty internalizing that it’s okay to acknowledge and get treatment for mental illness. So I started doing this podcast in an effort to create a place of validation and solidarity for those who also have some stuff goin’ on with their good bad brains.
